Reading of three short stories taken from the collection Insecte by Claire Castillon, published in 2006 by Fayard, translated into around twenty languages.

Insect evokes the conflicting relationships that can pit mothers against their daughters. All the short stories in this collection are the free expression of intense feelings, dazzling thoughts, sometimes unreal, which nevertheless settle relentlessly in the heads of mothers and daughters; tender or unhealthy, hateful or unbalanced, devouring or painful relationships.

The style is incisive, scathing, without being devoid of emotion and tenderness. The original sound universe of musician Pascal Esclarmonde blends with the voice of actress Dominique Prunier to give flesh to these moments of life.
